Crazy Helmet

Last summer I was on the hunt for a new and possibly stylish bike helmet, haha, it doesn't exist. I ended up with a Bern helmet (if you are curious) and it's still not stylish. It makes me look like I've got a really big head when I wear it.

Recently, I noticed this retractable, honeycomb-structured helmet over at Moco Loco, pictured above. Wacky with a cool design concept, but it's still offers this model the weird head look. It was designed by Caroline Journaux and Adrien Guérin for TopUp Head protection.

Haha, don't think that helmet would protect your noggin much. Maybe we should go into the helmet business and make some that are stylish? :)

The Nutcase helmets are pretty cute:

those nutcase ones have some nice paint/decaling action for sure but it still does not fix the issue of making your head look like a big ball of dork. if they could make a swimcap-like cover that was made of hyper-strong otherworldly material I'd be down, otherwise I'll stick to my thriftstore helmet.

Wingeddeer, that helmet is totally you! It reminds of the helmets that they are producing in the UK (our friend Jenn pointed them out to me last summer). Sadly, you still can't buy them here, but they are less big head and more lady-like. http://londoncyclechic.blogspot.com/2009/06/hip-hip-yakkay.html
